Ayaz Sadiq called me to hold a session regarding deadlock over Panama Leaks: Khurshid Shah

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah on Monday said that government decided to amend 1956 act from National Assembly (NA) regarding authorities of Panama Leaks enquiry commission, reported Dunya News.

He said that to approve the amendment from Senate, the deadlock over Terms of References (TOR) should be put to an end. He criticised the government and said that amendment in enquiry act 1956 will never assist the process of Panama Leaks investigation.

He said that Opposition had decided to present a bill over TORs in Senate session which was scheduled to be held on August 5. He also said that NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq called him to hold a session regarding deadlock over Panama Leaks but he asked Sadiq to contact Senator Aitzaz Ahsan in this regard.

Shah also met Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Shireen Mazari and Shafqat Mahmood and them into confidence over Public Accounts Committee representation in Senate.
