Dar approached NAB officials five times to terminate cases from 2001 to 2016 filed against him

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A petition has been filed against Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry while National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman, NAB DG and other officials were stated as a party to it, reported Dunya News on Monday.

The petitioner who filed a petition against Dar stated that corruption cases against him were dismissed with NAB’s collusion, in the light of which all the record should be presented before the court.

The minister approached NAB officials five times to terminate cases from 2001 to 2016 filed against him, the supplicant claimed.

The petitioner also demanded to form Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to unveil the illegal consent between Dar and NAB. He further demanded that Finance Minister should be held ineligible to hold his office and his name should be included in Exit Control List (ECL) till the formed JIT announced its verdict.
