Adjournment motion submitted in NA over Torkham border tension

The matter has become an issue of national concern after a Pakistani officer was martyred

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Members of National Assembly (MNAs) belonging to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Friday submitted an Adjournment motion in the National Assembly (NA) over the tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan over the Torkam border, reported Dunya News.

It has been mentioned in the motion that the escalating tension between both neighbouring countries over Torkham border is utmost concerning. Furthermore, the issue has become a matter of national concern and discussion needs to take place on it after a Pakistani officer was martyred and many others got injured as a result of firing from the Afghan forces.

The Adjournment motion was presented by PPP’s Shazia Marri, Naveed Qamar, Nafisa Shah, Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani and Dr Izra Afzal.
