Quetta: Major Ali Jawad Changezi laid to rest
Balochistan CM, FC IG Major General Sher Afgan, Federal Minister Qadir Baloch attended funeral
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Late Major Ali Jawad Changezi, who was martyred in firing exchange with Afghan forces on Torkham border, was laid to rest in Quetta on Tuesday, reported Dunya News.
Major Jawad’s body was brought to Khalid Air Base Quetta from Peshawar, from where it was taken to Imam Bargah. Many, including Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Frontier Corps Inspector General (FCIG) Major General Sher Afgan , Federal Minister for States and Frontiner Regions Lt Gen (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch, provincial ministers, members of provincial assembly attended the funeral prayer.
Abdul Qadir Baloch said on the occasion that entire nation was proud of Major Jawad and Allah had blessed this soil with sons who were always ready to sacrifice their lives for the homeland.
