ANP protests against target killing of party members

Provincial leaders as well as leaders from women wing also participated in the protest

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP) protested outside Peshawar Press Club against terrorism and target killing of Nazim in Malakand on Wednesday while the rally was headed by ANP Secretary General Mian Iftikhar Hussain, reported Dunya News.

The members were holding party flags, blocked the road in front of railway station and chanted slogans against target killing and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak.

Provincial leaders as well as leaders from women wing also participated in the protest. Hussain said that party’s 23rd member has been martyred during 3-year reign of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the province.

ANP leader also said that it is not just to accuse anyone over Panama Leaks. Imran Khan and Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif both should be investigated. Later, the protesters dispersed peacefully.
