RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Addressing to a seminar in Gwadar, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif said that army has fought a long battle to support peace and development, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has revealed on Tuesday, reported Dunya News.
COAS also said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb is not only an operation but an ideology, ideology against terrorists, extremists and corruption. China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring development in the region, he added.
He also said that the world recognises the success and sacrifices made by Pak Army, international community needs to stop funding foreign terrorist organisations and their supporters.
COAS also said that different international intelligence agencies including RAW are operating against CPEC, their ambitions will be eliminated, he added. He said that he will change the destiny of Balochsitan and Gwadar and announced to establish cadet college in Gwadar.
