PIMS rape case: Accused male nurse arrested from Haripur
It is impossible to track down rape symptoms after 4 days: Doctors
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Krishan Kumar, the alleged rapist of a physically challenged woman in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital has been arrested from Haripur on Tuesday while four days later, the girl s medical tests lost several proofs of rape after which medical report claims that the girl has not been raped, reported Dunya News.
The Inquiry committee and PIMS administration have stated that in the light of DNA report and other tests the final report has appeared negative for the second time. It has happened because of those doctors who are responsible for not conducting timely tests and have been a part of the inquiry committee at the same time.
On the other hand, doctors said that it is impossible to track down rape symptoms after 4 days. The symptoms can only be visible if tests are conducted within 24 to 36 hours.
Doctors have sent the same report to Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaurdhry.
