Peshawar: 'Huge' rats eat dead chickens to remain 'healthy'

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Rats took over the streets as soon as markets got closed in Peshawar city, Dunya News revealed. The primary reason of such massive number of rats in the city are dead chickens and their blood, which is the basic protein source for the rodents in the city.
Dunya News revealed that there is a dire need for the administration to conduct ‘operation clean-up’ in all the poultry shops of Chargano Chowk and other areas of the city.
The problem is calling for the administration to disposed off the rodents and standards of cleanliness be maintained.
