Angry Sindh Assembly Speaker postpones session as members arrive late

The Speaker has postponed the session till April 6.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani got furious and postponed the session till April 6 over the absence and late arrival of the members on Friday, reported Dunya News.

Sindh assembly session started an hour late as only 10 members were present in the assembly while Siraj Durrani expressed anger over the absence of the members.

Leader of Muslim League Functional (ML-F) Nand Kumar and Parliamentary Leader Nisar Khuhro apologised on the late arrival. The speaker then postponed the session till April 6.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders reached assembly when the session was postponed. Talking to the media, Parliamentary leader of MQM Syed Sardar Ahmad said that Sindh assembly has been running against the rules and regulations.

Khoro said that members do not reach assembly on time while Nand Kumar has also submitted adjournment motion over the deaths caused by raw liquor in Tando Muhammad Khan.
