Former president Supreme Court Bar Association Ahmed Ali Kurd on Monday held Lahore High Court Chief Justice Khawaja Sharif responsible for the clash between the lawyers and lower court judges. Addressing a meeting of Lahore High Court Bar Association, Kurd maintained that the issue of transfer of D&SJ Zawar Sheikh has been rearing its head for the last three months, adding that had it been heeded, it would not have snowballed into a serious Bar-Bench row. Rapping Justice Khawaja Sharif, if he had scruples, he would have come to Aiwan-e-Adl on foot to save the blackcoats from police highhandedness.
