Karachi: Police shoot dead Al-Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists

None of the killed terrorists belonged to any political party, says SSP Rao Anwar.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Terrorists belonging to banned outfits Al-Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi were gunned down Wednesday in Pairi and Gudap areas of Karachi, according to Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Malir, Rao Anwar. The SSP also stated that the exterminated terrorists were also involved in the assassination of Superintendent (SP) jail and three Deputy SPs.

Anwar announced these developments during a press conference. 

According to details, terrorists killed in an encounter with police in Karachi have been identified and include Abdul Wahab, Khalil aka green, Ismail aka Qasim, Suhail aka chashmatu, Tahir aka brigadier, Talha aka zarrar, Abdusalam aka tarzan, Zahid Hussain, Bilal Haleemullah, Munawar and Waqas.

Anwar stated that none of the killed terrorists belonged to any political party. He stated that Suhail alias Chashmatu’ had a price of Rs. 1.5 million on his head.

During press conference, the SSP also paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Pak Army and police.
