Pakistan, US agree on improving security, forces' skills

WASHINGTON: (Dunya News) – Pakistan and United States (US) have on Friday agreed on improving the efforts for peace and also the skills of the forces. Pakistan reiterated its resolve to take the war against terrorism to its logical end. Pak-US defence advisory group session agreed on improving the efforts for regional security and restoration of peace, reported Dunya News.
According to the joint declaration, the 24th meeting of the defence advisory group discussed all the major issues including the coalition support fund. Both the countries agreed on continuing the cooperation over regional security and also decided to improve defence cooperation.
Pakistan reiterated its resolve to take the ongoing war against terror to its logical end while the US appreciated Pakistan’s sacrifices and applauded its efforts for peace.
The session also decided to upgrade Pakistani security forces’ capacity for fighting terrorism.
