Traders, businessmen should play their role in rehabilitation: Zardari
President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday assured that the government would extend all possible support to mitigate the sufferings of the flood victims. He said that rehabilitation of flood-affected areas was a long term struggle. He said that these areas would be reconstructed with latest technology. Talking to a delegation of traders and businessmen, the President said that UN has promised 48.50 crore dollars aid. He stressed to deploy all available resources for the relief and rehabilitation of flood affected people all over the country. President Zardari said the world is slowly and gradually realizing that it is not a one day job, it is not a one country issue, it is an huge problem and its a huge catastrophe adding I think the world is standing with us. The President said that his farm house was also damaged in floods. He urged traders and businessmen to play their role to help flood affectees.
