India plays same old cards, rejects Nawaz's 4-point formula
The Indian government did express a desire for peace but made no real commitments.
NEW YORK (Dunya News) – The Indian government on Friday played the same old cards at the UN session that it has always played. A 4-point formula for peace presented by Prime Minister (PM) Pakistan Nawaz Sharif was offered to all world leaders including that of India but was rejected by the Indian government. Hurling baseless accusations, Indian Forieng Minister Sushma Swaraj lashed out against Pakistan.
According to the details, the Indian government did express a desire for peace but made no commitments. The Indian Foreign Minister again played the victim of terrorism but made no mention of its intelligence agencies involvement in Pakistan.
The issues of unprovoked Indian attacks at Line of Control (LOC) and working boundary were left unaddressed by Swaraj.
