Khawaja Salman Rafique 'welcomed' with rotten eggs at Sheikh Zayed Medical Hospital
Salman Rafique did not take offense at the incident
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Khawaja Salman Rafique was given a rousing welcome at Sheikh Zayed Medical Hospital on Monday as eggs were thrown at him on his arrival. Workers ended protest on successful negotiations over the proposed privatization.
Hospital workers demonstrated against the planned privatization at Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Lahore. Hospital staff received information while protesting that Advisor Health Khawaja Salman Rafique is present in auditorium. The protestors turned towards the auditorium to make forced entry but the gates of the venue were blocked.
Upon closure of the ceremony, Khawaja Salman Rafique got out of the auditorium and had eggs thrown on him by the agitated crowd. Salman Rafique did not take offense at the incident and dispersed the crowd with promises of acceptance of their demands.
