Power looms' laborers of Faisalabad finally started their march towards Lahore to get demands met
FAISALABAD: (Dunya News) – Faisalabad power looms’ laborers have on Thursday started march towards Lahore to get their demands accepted while the passengers faced the trouble because of the blocked traffic due to this march, reported Dunya News.
Power looms’ laborers have started their protest against the owners of the factories. Thousands of laborers thus started their march from Akbarabad Chowk in Faisalabad towards Lahore.
The traffic system was badly affected due to the march. Enraged laborers kept fighting with the passengers on this occasion and beat some of them up. They said that the factory owners have not been acting upon the Safety Act and Social Security Cards are also not being provided.
