Punjab govt doing nothing for flood victims: Babar Awan
Federal Law Minister Dr Babar Awan alleged Punjab government of doing nothing regarding the relief of flood affectees, and added that the efforts in Punjab are limited to photo sessions only. Talking to media after a party meeting in Lahore, Babar said that those owning Takht-e-Lahore should sale out their luxurious flats in London to help out the Mianwali flood victims. He questioned that how good governance would be achieved in Punjab when there is no education or health minister. He said monitoring cells have been set up at Presidency, while the PM is carrying out visits to assess the flood situation himself. He called upon the Punjab government to summon cabinet meeting regarding flood havoc. The minister also added that President Zardari is not going to UK on recreational trip rather he would address the misconceptions between the two states.
