Students protested outside Punjab Assembly as University of Health Sciences denied them registration
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Students of a private medical and dental college on Tuesday protested outside Punjab Assembly as the University of Health Sciences denied them registration. Students blocked the road due to which the traffic was disturbed, reported Dunya News.
The students protesting on the Cheering Cross at Mall Road, Lahore, were carrying banners and placards as well. The protesters raised slogans against the officials on this occasion. They said that the University of Health Sciences wasn’t registering them despite being paid Rs. 1 million per student for registration and it is a serious threat to their futures.
The traffic flow was also disturbed due to the protest and the students called off their protest upon assurance by the college administration that they would resolve the matter within 2 days. The Mall was opened for the traffic after the protest.
