Woman attempts suicide after killing 2 daughters
She claimed she was possessed by something supernatural
SAHIWAL (Dunya News) – A woman attempted suicide after killing her two girls here on Sunday but survived while receiving serious injuries.
According to details, Ghala Mandi resident Parveen Bibi strangled her two daughters to death using a string created with shopping bags. Four-year-old Memona and two and a half years old Mahnoor’s bodies were transferred to the hospital for postmortem.
Bibi tried to kill her using a sharp-edged weapon but survived and received serious injuries. She was later arrested by the police.
The accused claimed she was possessed by something supernatural. In her statement to the police, she said something happened to her all of sudden later night and she killed her daughters.
Meanwhile, unknown persons in Tandu Allahyar killed a mother and two daughters. Reportedly, unknown persons barged into a local Manzoor Malik’s house and killed the three women using a sharp edged weapon.
