Funeral prayers of Mansehra helicopter crash victims offered
People from all walks of life and relatives of the victims attended the funeral prayers.
RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) - Funeral prayers of martyrs of Mansehra helicopter crash was held today (Saturday) at Chaklala, the ISPR reported.
Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Chief of Air Staff and a large number of high ranking serving and retired officers and other ranks from three services, people from all walks of life and relatives of the victims attended the funeral prayers.
At least 12 military men including three doctors and paramedics from the medical wing lost their lives when the helicopter suddenly went down on Thursday due to bad weather in the district of Mansehra of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The team was traveling to the northern city of Gilgit from Rawalpindi to evacuate a sick soldier.
