US Special Envoy calls on Army Chief to discuss regional security
Feldman appreciated Pakistan's positive role in Afghan peace process.
Ambassador Daniel F. Feldman, US Special Representative for Afghanistan & Pakistan (SRAP) met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif today (Saturday), the ISPR reported.
During the meeting, Feldman and General Raheel Sharif discussed regional security and stability.
The US Envoy appreciated Pakistan s positive role, specially of General Raheel Sharif for bringing all parties to peace talks between Afghanistan Government and Taliban.
He hoped with all sincerity that talks would resume soon to bring lasting peace.
