Iftikhar Chaudhry demands detailed inquiry into reasons behind sit-in
Former CJ said that an inquiry must be held to know why Imran Khan blamed so many big names
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has on Monday demanded a detailed inquiry into the reasons behind the sit-in. He said that an inquiry must be held to know why Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan blamed so many big names. He demanded that the state must take the inquiry of the sit-in to its logical end, reported Dunya News.
Holding a press conference in the federal capital, Chaudhry said that Imran Khan alleged so many people of rigging but failed to prove anything so an inquiry must be held. “Imran Khan hurled so many allegations. State must hold an inquiry to know the reasons behind the sit-in”, he said.
