Karachi: Rain in intervals makes weather pleasant
Citizens pray for more rain so that temperature comes down in the city as 370 already dead
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Continual rain in Karachi has on Monday made the weather pleasant a bit but the temperature and humidity are still relatively higher. Although citizens seem relieved after slight drop in temperature yet they are praying for more rain so that the temperature may drop further as 370 people have already died due to extreme weather, reported Dunya News.
Karachi has seen extreme temperature during the last few days and even today the temperature of the city was 42.5 degrees Celsius. After extremely hot conditions, there was rain in some areas of the city including Liaquatabad, North Nazimabad, Federal B Area and Orangi Town.
In the evening, there were drizzling in Gulshan Iqbal, University Road and some other areas. According to Met office, there are strong chances of rain in Karachi on Tuesday and Wednesday after which there will be gradual decrease in the temperature as well.
