COAS visits Sri Lankan Army Headquarters, meets counterpart

Sri Lankan Army Chief appreciated Pakistan Army for successful operation against terrorists
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Shareef visited Sri Lankan Army Head Quarters on Saturday. According to Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR), General Raheel Shareef also held a meeting with his Sri Lankan counterpart Lieutenant General A W J De Silwa.
Army Chief was briefed about the training and professional matters of the Srilankan Army. Raheel Shareef and Sri Lankan army chief discussed issues of mutual interest, professional co-operation and to improve co-operation in the field of defence. Both chiefs also decided to continue co-operation in countering terrorism as both countries are fighting terrorism from many decades.
