Army Chief cancels Sri Lanka visit after Karachi bus attack
General Raheel Sharif was expected leave for Sri Lanka on a three-day visit.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif cancelled his pre-scheduled three-day visit to Sri Lanka after a terrorist attack on a bus in Karachi that left at least 43 people dead.
This was reported by DG ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa in a message posted on Twitter.

The Army Chief was scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka this evening on the invitation of Sri Lankan Army Commander Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva.
