As judicial commission starts proceedings officially, PTI, PMLN tweeps gang up against each other

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – As the judicial commission for probing rigging in General Elections 2013, comprising Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal, has on Thursday started its proceedings officially, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) supporters on Twitter have found yet another reason to grill each other.

Judicial commission told all the parties to present the proofs within one week and though the PTI had already submitted proofs for 88 constituencies, it was asked to provide proofs for the other 55 constituencies within next 7 days by the commission.

Immediately, twitter started to overflow with the tweets on the subject and, as they always do, PTI and PML-N supporters immediately started to grill each other on the matter. While PTI said that it had ‘mountain of proofs’ available with it for proving poll rigging, PML-N said that the PTI had no proofs and was just beating an empty drum.

So the two took to Twitter as PTI started trending #PTIhasMountainOfProofs while PML-N trended #SabootPunctureHoGaye.

PML-N supporters said that PTI had nothing up its sleeve. If it could produce nothing in 2 years, what would they do in one week, they questioned.

But PTI supporters responded with images of the office where all the rigging proofs were placed. That really looks like a mountain.

PML-N supporters have repeatedly alleged Imran Khan of stage-managing that fall from the container before elections in Lahore. They repeated the same accusation but with a hint of sarcasm.

But another PTI supporter said that the current Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique was present in one of the polling stations and therefore, the election was rigged. He, however, did not explain how did that qualify for rigging.

We hope that the entire  mountain  does not contain similar proofs because if it does, the following tweet will certainly hold true.

But that doesn t seem to be the case. Because when PTI had made an appeal a few days back to its voters and supporters to provide it with whatever proofs they had, many of them did oblige.

But PML-N boys started to mock even that appeal. If you look closely, there is minor editing in the text of the ad, making it look like an appeal for proofs because PTI had none.

But if this image isn t phtoshopped, it doesn t look like one anyways, there is something serious to be looked at by the judicial commission.

This Farhan Virk s parody account said that Imran Khan should ask for support from Mufti Popalzai in order to look for proofs because the guy has the guts to locate the moon even when there is none.

Real Farhan Virk, however, retaliated with something serious.

But Imran Khan has done it in the past and we hope that he doesn t do it again.

Certain Angel Ayesha has a point anyways.

But one thing missing from the  proofs  so far provided by the PTI is that infamous audio-tape, repeatedly mentioned by Imran Khan and others in which the then CM Punjab Najam Sethi was allegedly telling Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that he had managed the elections. "Peintee (35) puncture la ditte ne" to be exact.

But this guy has summed this fight up nicely. After all, Twitter is not the judicial commission. The judges are the one to decide actually.
