President, PM Nawaz greet Christian community on Easter
Christian community across the world is celebrating Easter festival today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in their separate messages have greeted the Christians on the occasion of Easter by lauding their struggles for Pakistan today (Sunday).
Christians across the world are celebrating Easter today which is an event of peace and harmony.
President Mamnoon stated that the Christians as well as all minorities of Pakistan are equal in the eyes of state. He reiterated that the government is keen in providing all the rights to the minorities and for those who have lacked the basic rights would get complete justice.
PM Nawaz added that the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is concerned about the minorities and committed to safeguard their most fundamental rights.
‘It’s our responsibility to ensure safety, honor, life and property of all minority communities’, he expressed.
While wishing Easter, PM Nawaz urged the Christian community to continue serving their nation and country for their development and prosperity.
