Election tribunal will compile its report after this recount.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Election Tribunal has started the recount of votes of two more polling stations in NA-125 constituency of Lahore today (Saturday), Dunya News reported.

According to details, the tribunal will compile its report after this recount.

The Election Tribunal has already recounted eight out of ten polling stations votes after a commission appointed to examine polling bags and other records in NA-125 which had found several irregularities in the election and was won by Khwaja Saad Rafiq of the PML-N.

Hamid Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who was the runner-up in the constituency in 2013 General Elections, had challenged the result before an election tribunal and sought inspection of the polling record.

The Election Tribunal asked both the candidates to submit list of five polling stations each of their own choice but none of them informed the tribunal about it after which the tribunal started recount by choosing polling stations of its own will.
