Youhanabad incident: Identification process of aggressors starts
Similarities in series of Lahore blasts make police hopeful in finding the terrorists involved
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Identification process of those who lynched two common citizens in Youhanabad on Sunday has been started. Six cases have been registered about the Youhanabad tragedy so far. Police has started identifying the people with the help of 3000 images. Police has also expressed hope of getting to the terrorists in light of the similarities between the blasts in Lahore, reported Dunya News.
Police has not yet started the formal investigation of the Youhanabad tragedy. Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed for investigating the incident will also start the investigations on Wednesday. Police is hopeful in getting to the bottom of the matter by investigating the matter on scientific grounds.
3000 images of the people involved in violence after the bomb blasts have been gathered. Records of most of these people have also been gathered. Arrests of those involved in violence will soon be arrested.
Government is hopeful of getting to the terrorists through drawing similarities between the Wagha Border, Police Lines and Youhanabad blasts.
Police say that the investigations regarding lynching of the two people after bomb blasts, damaging the public property, attacking the police and breaking the car of a lady named Maryam Safdar will soon be completed.
