Police tortures 30-year-old to death in Nankana Sahib
Man died of police torture, case has been registered against ASI and 3 other officials
NANKANA SAHIB: (Dunya News) – An Additional Sub-Inspector (ASI) and three other police officials have on Saturday been booked in a case of torturing a thirty-year-old man to death in Nankana Sahib, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, police had arrested Muhammad Sajid in a robbery case from the adjacent Chak 559 G-B. Sajid died due of police torture during investigation on Friday.
Relatives of the deceased protested in District Court Chowk for three hours. Police finally registered the case filed by Sajid’s brother against In-charge Chowkin No. 5, ASI Muhammad Boota and three other police officials.
