PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Friday has said that the Senate Election 2015 was rigged. He said that the political parties would also bribe in the Chairman Senate Election.
He expressed these views in a press conference in Peshawar.
Khan congratulated Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on holding of flawless elections. He said that it is a matter of immense happiness that KP government did not submit its conscience to money like the rest of the provinces. He said that the Prime Minister (PM) is paying a visit to Saudi Arabia while the matter of national interest, Senate election needed supervision. He said that the leaders of the country staged a drama in name of Amendment in the Constitution.
He said that the Senators in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly have been elected on merit. National Party’s (NP) Hasil Bizenjo said that a Senator’s rate on general seat is Rs 4 crore in Senate Elections 2015, he added.
