PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Polling for by-election over the vacant Senate seat of Awami National Party’s (ANP) Azam Hoti is underway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.
As per details, Jamiat-e-Ulema- e-Islam’s Ghulam Ali and Azam Sawati of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are contesting in the by-election.
As many as 122 members of KP assembly would utilize their voting right among which 52 are opposition members. The candidate should have to gain at least 62 votes in order to snatch the seat.
The administration has also ensured strict security to avoid any mishap during the polling.
