PPP, JUI-F involved in horse-trading, hence opposing open balloting: Imran Khan

Government is not serious to bring constitutional amendment to hamper horse-trading, says Khan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Monday said he had talked to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on one-point agenda of obstructing horse-trading in Senate elections adding that both PPP and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) were involved in horse-trading therefore were opposing open balloting whereas PTI believed in transparency.
He said they sent over a party representative to the All Parties Conference (APC) when Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) led government expressed its intent to impede horse-trading but was not actually serious about bringing a constitutional amendment to hamper horse-trading; PM Nawaz Sharif’s leaving for Saudi Arabia made that evident.
PTI will point out people who were engaged in horse-trading during Senate elections and would defeat those who procured votes through money, he added.
