PTI intends to back the constitutional amendment that hampers horse-trading in Senate elections.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Tiff between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and government has started to settle down after the decision of forming a Judicial Commission whereas PTI has also hinted joining the parliament again.

According to the sources, meetings among government representatives, opposition leaders and PTI bore results after the decision of formulation of a judicial Commission was taken; the announcement, in regard, is soon to follow. Both stakeholders exhibited flexibility over terms of reference. PTI’s demand of a thorough investigation of the electoral rigging was also satisfied.

Information Minister Pervez Rashid on Saturday affirmed that both parties showed flexibility over terms of reference of the commission, which now leaves no major hurdle in the way of establishing a Judicial Commission. He further added that after settling the disagreement with PTI, they have begun consulting their collation partners in order to resolve their apprehensions.

PTI intends to become a part of the constitutional amendment that hampers horse-trading during Senate elections and after the settlement over JC, PTI would seriously consider returning to parliament.
