Facebook row: LHC orders govt to record protest with US
Lahore High Court has ordered the government to record its protest with the US along with blockage of Facebook. In a case regarding blashphemous caricatures page on Facebook, the court remarked that these blasphemous hurt the feelings of Pakistani people. LHC has ordered the Pakistani Foreign Office to record its strong protest with the US Foreign Office and official copy of this protest should be submitted in the court. The court has also ordered that if the government doesnt record the protest with the US, then Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi should present explanation in the court.
