Scrutiny of another two polling stations confirms discrepancies in NA-125 record
PTI candidate Hamid Khan had accused PML-N's Khawaja Saad Rafique of rigging the elections.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – After inspecting the record of another two polling stations in NA-125 constituency of Lahore, local election commission has submitted its report to the election tribunal on Monday, Dunya News reported.
During inspection of the record at polling station no. 111 and 120, the election commission has detected several discrepancies, including absence of form 14 and 15.
Hamid Khan, the runner-up in the constituency and belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, had sought inspection of the record, alleging that Federal Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq had rigged the 2013 elections.
The election tribunal has summoned respondents on February 14 for further arguments.
