The meeting resolved to share intelligence reports and increase cooperation to counter terrorism

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday has met British Prime Minister (PM) David Cameron during his three-day visit to Britain.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting resolved to share intelligence reports and increase cooperation to counter terrorism. The meeting also resolved to stop the funding of banned organisations and foreign anti-Pakistan powers.

Earlier, General Sharif had reached Britain and met the British political and military leadership.

According to the details, the COAS discussed matters of mutual interest and the situation on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. General Sharif met British chief of defense and national security adviser. The meeting discussed matters relating bilateral relations, combined military training courses and strengthening of defense cooperation between the two countries.

Moreover, few agreements are also likely to be signed between both the countries during the COAS’s visit to Britain.
