Walk-out staged in Senate over increase in POL prices

Opposition members staged a walkout during a Senate session on Monday over the increase in POL prices and inflation.The Chairman Senate Farooq H Naiq chaired the session of the Senate. Opposition accused the government of adopting a callous attitude towards the hike in prices. Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Raja Zafarul Haq said that the decision to increase POL prices on regular basis is hampering the economy. He said that the protest would continue until the government revert the decision.PML-Q Senator Wasim Sajjad demanded the bill for National Democracy Commission Bill to presented in the Senate.
