Arbitration system will provide cheap justice to people: CJP
Chief Justice of Pakistan said that our court system is very expensive and establishment of arbitration system will provide cheap justice to people and burden on courts will also get lowered. Addressing a seminar in Lahore, he said that alternative arbitration system is spreading in all over the world and the system is being adopted due to its qualities. He said that this system is established in Pakistan in form of Panchaet and Jirga but social evils are not allowing the system to get flourished. The CJP said that this system is established in China and America and 80 percent of cases are settled out of courts. Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Muhammad Sharif said that lawyers and bars should have to play their role to implement the arbitration system in district courts. Judges of Supreme Court and High Court also attended the seminar.
