NADRA will re-count the votes after carrying out the thumb-verification.

LAHORE (Dunya News)— Election Tribunal in Lahore on Monday has accepted Imran Khan’s plea to re-open ballot bags for vote verification in NA-122.

Justice Kazim Mulq has said that NADRA will re-count the votes after carrying out the thumb-verification.

PTI’s chairman Imran Khan had filed a petition to recount the NA-122 votes claiming that Ayaz Sadiq won on basis of blunt rigging. During the hearing of the case in Election Tribunal, Ayaz Sadiq’s son was present who said that he would respect the descision takjen by the court.

Sardar Ayaaz Sadiq’s counsel speaking to media in Lahore said that Imran Khan doesn’t want votes re-counting and hence, he is using delay tactics.

Election commission had already given it’s verdict about votes recount in NA-122 and the process was underway but Imran Khan interfered to complicate the matter, said Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
