Imran, Qadri must pay attention to their security: Rana Sanaullah
Former Law Minister said anyone including PM Nawaz will record its statement before JIT if called
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Former Law Minister of Punjab Rana Sanaullah has said that anyone including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will appear before Joint Investigative Team (JIT) for getting their statements recorded if called, Dunya News reported. He said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri must pay special attention to their security as they have serious security threats.
Talking to media after addressing a meeting in Lahore on Thursday organized by Child Protection Bureau, Rana Sanaullah said that Pakistan came into being through ballot and it should only be run through the power of ballot. He said that dictators tried to run the country in the past and damaged the country in process.
Rana Sanaullah said that if Dr. Tahirul Qadri had some disagreement on the formation of JIT then he may go to court. He said that he will prove before the JIT that Model Town incident was not planned nor was it a conspiracy. He said that he will personally appear before the JIT and anyone including PM Nawaz Sharif will appear before JIT and get their statements recorded if called.
