Won't let PTI become 'political martyr': Asfandyar Wali
I am merely protecting democracy, he said.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali on Wednesday claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is breathing its last in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and that they won’t let PTI become the ‘political martyr’.
Wali said that there’s no chance of midterm elections, adding that the political crisis can be resolved if Imran Khan gives up on his ‘ego’ and ‘insistence’.
He said he is being accused of protecting Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, adding that he is merely protecting the democracy.
