Attack on PTV building: Arrest warrants of Imran Khan, Tahirul Qadri issued
The cases against the accused are registered in Islamabad's Secretariat Police Station.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The arrest warrants of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and other key leaders were issued on Wednesday in attack on PTV building case, Dunya News reported.
According to state-run TV, Islamabad’s anti-terrorism court issued arrest warrants against Imran Khan, Tahirul Qadri, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak, PTI lawmaker Asad Umar and PAT leader Raheeq Abbasi in cases regarding attacks on parliament and PTV building during sit-in protests in Islamabad.
The cases against the accused are registered in Islamabad’s Secretariat Police Station.
A violent mob had attacked the buildings of parliament and PTV in a clash with the police in August.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that he can’t be scared that easy, adding that the sit-in on November 30 will take place even if he is arrested.
Addressing sit-in participants in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that no worker of PTI was involved in attack on the parliament and PTV buildings. He claimed that the ‘match’ of PTV building attack was fixed.
He alleged that the PTV building attack was an insight job, adding that he has heard the ‘good news’ that his arrest warrants have been issued in the PTV building attack case.
Imran Khan said he can’t be scared that easy adding that he has been in container for a long time that it is not a problem for him to stay in a prison. Imran Khan said he won’t seek bail, asking the government to arrest him whenever they want.

Won t let govt function if we don t get justice by Nov 30:
Imran Khan Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has warned off the government that if PTI does not get justice until November 30 then it would be difficult for the government to function.
He expressed these views while addressing the PTI rally in Nankana Sahib on Wednesday.
He said that the Prime Minister (PM) has misunderstood the meaning of ‘Go Nawaz Go’, adding, go Nawaz go does not mean going to China, Germany and now London on extravagant tours.
The government had agreed upon five to six demands of the PTI during talks, Khan said, adding that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) does not have the capability to run the country. He said that Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar now says that PTI s demands are illegal. He also said that the government is getting richer and the country alongwith its people are getting poorer.
He further said that inclusion of spy agencies in the Judicial Commission was part of the negotiations with the government.
Khan said that they know that the election was rigged but they are giving the government a chance to make amends in its wrongdoings.
He said that PTI knows how the government published lacs of ballots in the last two days of elections and that who controlled Returning Officers (ROs).
He said that they know the media houses who aided the PML-N’s rigging. He said that Nawaz Sharif would have to resign and hold a re-election if rigging is proven.
PTI chairman also accused Jang and Geo to have helped the government to cover up rigging in the elections.
Khan said that leaders of political parties agree that rigging happened and yet did not urge the PM to resign. He accused that Pakistan People s Party (PPP) also did rigging in Sindh. He said that if there was no rigging then why is the PM resisting the vote re-count and investigation of the General Elections 2013.
He said that the country is facing problems due to the government policies and that if no rigging was done then four constituencies should have been opened to investigation.
He further said that they have written proof of rigging by the government.
