Kot Radha Kishan incident: Protests continue in different cities
Protection of the minorities is one of the PPP's priorities, says Wattoo
KOTRADHAKISHAN: (Dunya News) Protests against the couple’s killing continue in various cities of the country while protesters demanded the government of providing protection to the minorities.
Multan Citizen Union Platform demonstrated a protest at the Number 9 Chungi whereas in Gujranwala the christians’ community conducted a protest-rally from Gondalawala Bus-stop to District Coordination Officer (DCO) office.
The christains’ community and National Labour Movement of Faisalabad did a protest-rally from Kechahri Bazaar to District Council Chowk. The protesters blocked the road and chanted slogans against the culprits involved in the incident.
Punjab Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) President Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo met the grieving family in Kot Radha Kishan and expressed grief over the incident. He said that protection of the minorities was one of the PPP’s priorities.
