Mustafa Qureshi endorses Imran Khan's demands, likely to join PTI
He said he supports Imran Khan's demands but hasn't decided about joining PTI yet.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Famous celebrity turned politician Mustafa Qureshi – who has been associated with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for past 35 years – on Tuesday endorsed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s demands and is likely to switch to PTI, Dunya News reported.
Talking exclusively to Dunya News, Qureshi said that he is concerned about PPP’s current policies, adding that it no longer is the party of former prime ministers Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
Qureshi said he sees the image of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in Imran Khan, adding that Imran Khan reminded him of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto when he was cautioning America from the container.
He said he supports Imran Khan’s demands but hasn’t decided about joining PTI yet.
