Rigging allegations: Justice (r) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday sends legal notice to Imran Khan

Justice (retired) Ramday has asked Imran Khan to apologise within 14 days.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former judge of the Supreme Court Justice (r) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday on Saturday served legal notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan over allegations regarding rigging in 2013 election.
Justice (r) Ramday in his notice stated that allegations leveled against him are baseless. He said he was neither part of the election nor he was working on any post at that time.
The former SC judge remarked that Imran Khan has damaged his image through these allegations.
The notice calls on Imran Khan to apologise over his baseless allegations within 14 days, otherwise, strict legal action will be taken.
Few days back, the PTI chief alleged that Justice (r) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday, former CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, ECP member Ishtiaq Ahmed and some other prominent personalities were involved in the election rigging.
Imran had claimed that before general election 2013, Justice (r) Ramday invited Returning Officers (ROs) on dinner where Iftikhar Chaudhry was chief guest.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did his infamous victory speech at the behest of Justice (r) Ramday as he was controlling the Returning Officers.
