The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products. The increase would be applicable from April 1.According to the regulatory authority, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs2.5 per liter while diesel has been increased by Rs 3.5. The new prices of petrol and diesel are Rs73.14 and Rs 73.39 respectively. High octane blending component price went up to Rs87.56 after an increase of Rs1.5 per liter. The price of light diesel oil increased to Rs63.7 with an increase of Rs2.73 per liter. The POL prices have been increased here in accordance with the increase of its prices in the international market.
