Pir Sabir Shah criticized media for giving undue coverage to the 'slip of tongue'.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – President PML-N KPK Pir Sabir Shah held a press conference in Peshawar on Saturday to justify the mistake of chanting “go Nawaz go” slogans in a convention yesterday (Friday), Dunya News reported. Sabir Shah terming the mistake a ‘slip of tongue’ clarified that his party instead of raising slogans of ‘Jiyo Nawaz Jiyo’ and ‘Go Imran Go’ mistakenly called out anti-Nawaz slogans.

He also argued that the media overlooked an essential discussion held at the ‘Pakistan Stability Convention’ giving more coverage to a trivial mistake.

Earlier on Friday, following a scuffle among the workers and disorder during the ‘Pakistan Stability Convention’ led by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PML-N’s provincial president mistakenly raised and led the anti-government chant ‘go Nawaz go’.

According to the details, the convention took place at Eid Gah in Peshawar in which a large number of workers participated.
The event fell to disorder when the workers started to scuffle and advancing towards stage. However the worse was averted upon intervention of provincial leadership.

PML-N leadership later addressed the gathering and said that the ongoing sit-in protests in Islamabad have caused a huge loss.
