Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani asked the members National Assembly to observe patience for release of the United Nations report on Benazir Bhuttos assassination. Let the concerned person come, he will reply. And the concerned person is Interior Minister who is Minister-in-Waiting with the Turkish Prime Minister, the Prime Minister said, in response to a point of order by opposition member Raza Hayat Hiraj. When this House and the provincial assemblies had unanimously decided that the United Nations should probe this matter, how we can cause a delay. BB is our leader and she sacrificed her life for democracy and the people of Pakistan, Gilani said. The Prime Minister said, we should not discuss the issue when the relevant authority is not there to brief. Commenting on another point, the Prime Minister said, according to parliamentary traditions the members do not cast aspersions on the Speaker and if any members had any reservations he is used to meet the Speaker in her Chamber.Raza Hayat Hiraj had stated that the report was to be presented to the United Nations Secretary General on March 31. But despite that a hefty amount was spent on it, the report has been delayed on Pakistans request. We are also waiting the report as our party was pronounced Murderer League and we want to know who has been held responsible in this report, he added. Meanwhile, Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat had demanded, his party will know the report even if it had held the PML-Q responsible. We shall acknowledge the report even if we are held responsible. But, if we are not accused, then the government will have to tender apologies for alleging us.
