Protests harming state, not govt: Saad Rafique

'Rented crowd' sitting outside parliament, says Abid Sher Ali
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the protests and sit-ins are not hurting government, they are rather harming the state. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahirul Qadri have succeeded in stopping foreign investment in Pakistan.
Speaking today (Thursday) outside Parliament House, Saad Rafique said that sit-in holders are unable to bear the fact that Pakistan is making progress. “Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) and his ministers must be freed from the sit-in”, said Railways Minister.
Federal Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali has said that the crowd sitting outside the Parliament House is a ‘rented crowd’. He said that Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri are making baseless accusations without any proof. He said that Imran and Qadri want civil war in Pakistan.
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart from Faisalabad Abid Sher Ali said that government improved the country’s economy. “We were going to sign 10,400 MW projects with Chinese companies which have now been delayed”, said Abid Sher Ali.
